Steven K. Norgaard is a 1990 graduate of The University of Chicago Law School. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Accountancy from The University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign, in 1987, where he graduated with highest honors and passed the CPA exam.

 

Prior to beginning his own practice in 1994, Steve practiced law at McDermott Will & Emery in Chicago. He has extensive experience counseling individuals and business owners in real estate, business transactions and estate planning.

 

Steve serves on several boards of directors, including: the Frontier Funds (a family of institutional open-end mutual funds, lead independent director); the SRH Total Return Fund (a closed-end mutual fund, audit committee chair); and the Elevation Series Trust (an investment trust for exchange traded funds). He was a long-time director and former chairman of Attorneys’ Title Guaranty Fund, Inc., a lawyer centric title insurance company. He is a member of the American Bar Association, Illinois State Bar Association, DuPage County Bar Association, and the Illinois Real Estate Lawyers Association.
